MVRWSC Environmental Policy
The Mountain View Regional Water Services Commission operates the Anthony Henday Water Treatment Plant and related distribution system. We are committed to delivering "Quality Water Always" while minimizing or preventing our impact on the environment and are committed to protecting the environment. Through sound management of public health and environmental issues, we strive to be a leader in the Alberta water supply industry, and will achieve this by:
- Meeting or surpassing all applicable legal and industry requirements;
- Continually improving public health and environmental performance through ongoing assessment, planning, monitoring, and management;
- Ensuring the public health and pollution prevention is considered in decision making for planning, maintaining and expanding operations;
- Communicating with our stakeholders to ensure expectations are continually being met.
